Coffee shop etiquette for the freelance designer

As a fully remote design studio, I find a change in scenery can be helpful, especially when I’m working on a new project. A couple of things I try to remember before I leave the house for a long working session at a local coffee shop.

⏰ If you’re meeting with a client, get there early to claim a table.

🥐 Order something (a coffee, a tea, a pastry) every hour that you’re there.

⚡️ Leave with a fully charged laptop and phone (just in case there isn’t a spot by an outlet)

🔴 Try not to overstay your welcome, especially if it’s busy!
